Atelier Simoni Pens

Raffaella Simoni Malaguti, daughter of Armando Simoni, founder of Omas, and her son, Gianluca Malaguti Simoni, have been been working together for over twenty years, sharing their passion for beautiful things and a profound respect for their family's philosophy and tradition.

After designing and producing a record number of 470 models, they are considered to be the greatest designers of luxurious writing equipment of our time. As a result of their experience and their desire to explore new creative directions they have selected wood as the primary material for their new collection of unique objects. Their innovative approach is based on aesthetics, technique and technology. The materials and colors mutually reinforce an inter-exchange and fusion of values, but also incorporate a timely cultural message: a natural gift.

Raffaella and Gianluca were determined to carry out Armando?s dream of the perfect fountain pen. In their efforts they developed a patented piston system that does not allow the fountain pen to leak or the ink to dry out. This is the first major advance in the manufacture of fountain pens in decades. Together they have now formed a new Italian company, ?Atelier Simoni?.
