Aurora Limited Editions Pope

A small jewel inspired by man’s most noble sentiments.

A jewel that holds a special charm, not only for its splendid design and the choice of precious materials, but also for the sentiments it evokes.

To honour those universal values that draw people together and come from the bottom of the soul, Aurora has created an important writing instrument that is also a symbol of peace and brotherhood. Pure passions, solid foundations on which to build the present and the future.

This creation by Aurora, inspired by charismatic characters, great communicators, scholars with a keen interest in sacred works and all other forms of knowledge, lovers of art and culture, is a valuable collector’s pen characterised by its firm stroke and secure grip.

The gold-plated cap bears two papal coats-of-arms. On one side, the eagle, the first symbol known to have been used as a coat-of-arms by Pope Innocent III (1198-1216). On the other, symbolising the present Pope, the cross and the letter M, which stands for Mary. This genuine masterpiece is further enhanced by the precious jewel clip.

The body is made of a variegated marble coloured material, especially created by Aurora, that evokes the columns of St. Peter’s Square.

XXV I.Paulus II is engraved on the ring, between the clip and the head, in honour of the present pontiff. For the first time in Aurora’s extensive range of pens the grip is made of metal with a gold-plated coating.

The fountain pen, produced in a limited edition of just 1919 numbered pieces, is made more precious by a cabochon-cut white agate set in the head. It is piston filled and features Aurora’s hidden reservoir system, for two more pages of writing when the ink appears to have run out. The elegantly tapered nib is made of 18 Kt. Solid gold.

The gold-plated rolling ball pen has been produced in 999 pieces; a white agate is set in the head.

For the most demanding collectors, the fountain pen is also available with a solid gold cap, made even more precious by the rutile quartz set in the head. This version is a limited edition of 99 pens.

This new work of art, carefully and expertly hand-crafted, is one of Aurora’s most important creations, for the noble sentiments from which it draws inspiration.
